The new Primostar 3 series from Zeiss can be used in many fields of application, such as teaching, biology, human and veterinary medicine and agricultural science. It offers all contrast techniques of choice such as darkfield, phase contrast, simple polarization and fluorescence.

The brightfield application enables the analysis of stained tissue sections or cell structures; phase contrast can be used to visualize unstained cells, pathogens or bacteria. The simple handling and high durability offer optimal conditions for educational settings. As an alternative to the Full-Köhler versions, the Fixed-Köhler models provide even easier operation. By upgrading the tube with an integrated 8 MP 4k camera, the iPad Imaging App Labscope can be used to connect the microscopes in a course room or to share images and videos via projectors.
